OCC's Chamber Choir leaves on April 2nd for Paris and Vimy, France, to participate in the ceremonies to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. In April, the Ottawa Children’s Chamber Choir will travel to France to perform as part of the ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge at the Canadian National Vimy Memorial. The Choir is an ensemble of 24 singers aged 11-15. They will accompany Canadian pop, folk and country singer Isabelle Boulay as she performs “L’hymne à la beauté du monde.”

Six great choirs, one great cause. Join choristers from the Ottawa Children's Concert Choir and Ottawa Children's Chamber Choir as special guest artists for the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir's concert, Songs for St. Joe's Supper Table. Also performing will be the Ottawa Catholic School Board's Children's and Chamber Choirs and Cross Town Youth Chorus.

If you, your friends or family are planning to be in the Glebe on Saturday February 11 we would love to see you at McKeen Metro Glebe on Bank St. from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Chamber Choir choristers will be bagging groceries and raising funds for their trip to Vimy in April where they will be performing as part of the Vimy 100 ceremonies. Get your groceries, say hi to a chorister, support the choir -- sounds like a pretty good morning!
