Do you recognize anyone from this cover photo of the Ottawa Children's Choir singing at the National Remembrance Day Ceremony that appeared on the January/February, 2005, issue of Legion Magazine? We have been proud participants at this event since 1973. November 11, 2017, will be the 45th consecutive Remembrance Day that OCC choristers have contributed their voices to mark this solemn occasion.
Support the OCC - Support Local Business
As a registered non-profit, the OCC relies on fundraising dollars to help offset operating costs and our fundraising initiatives allow us to apply for various grants.
Our fall fundraiser offers products from two local companies: Francesco’s Coffee and Halsall’s Honey. Francesco’s has created a striking Ottawa Children’s Choir label with a photo of the choir on Remembrance Day.
Coffee - We are again offering a fine collection of Fair Trade Organic Coffees from our local roasting house, Francesco’s. Each coffee is freshly roasted after our order is received @ $16.00 per ¾ lb, (whole bean or fine grind).
Peru Viennese (coffee): A mild, South American coffee, with good body and a lovely fruity finish. Taste the Andes.
Espresso Garibaldi: This award-winning Roman style espresso with a rich crema, bold caramel flavour is great for espresso machines. Ideal for lattes and cappuccinos.
Caffé Palazzo Swiss Water Decaf: Approximately 1 - 2% of the caffeine of the original. Take in a Tuscan sunset from an Italian palazzo.
Honey - Locally produced golden wildflower liquid honey from Halsall’s Honey @ $8.50 per 500g jar
Halsall’s local honey and Francesco’s coffees make excellent gifts!
