It has been announced that transport trucks are expected to descend on Parliament Hill from the east and west and from Gatineau on Tuesday, February 19 and Wednesday, February 20, as part of the “United We Roll Convoy for Canada” protest. Wellington Street between Kent Street and Elgin Street will be closed to regular traffic from 8 am until as late as after the afternoon rush hour both days. Downtown commuters are advised to plan ahead for traffic delays.
Tickets are now on sale for one of the Ottawa Chidren's Choir's signature events. For the second year in a row, the Chamber Choir, conducted by Jamie Loback, will present Pergolesi's moving rendition of Stabat Mater. A wine and cheese reception will follow with a cash bar.

Concert and Chamber Choirs are proud to be participating in the Remembrance Day ceremony at The National War Memorial on Sunday, November 11th. For the past 45 years, the Ottawa Children's Choir has helped to honour with music the sacrifices made by Canadian soldiers, and this year, which marks 100 years since the end of World War I, is no exception.
